Bob Nalbandian from the Shockwaves Skull Sessions sent me an email asking me if I would be interested in featuring one of their interviews conducted with Terry Ilous earlier this year on the MMP. I asked why? He said, “Dude, I’m working on a Inside LA Metal Documentary, and have no time. I have over 50 hrs of material to edit and need to pump out some of the interviews that I conducted for the Shockwaves Skull Sessions Podcast before it becomes out of date”. I’m like, coolio. Send it over.
So, here it is. An interview conducted by Bob Nalbandian’s buddy, Carl Alvarez back in February 2013. Terry Ilous (XYZ, Great White) talks about how the process of recording and promotion has changed over the years. Stories about the Sunset Strip in the early 90’s. As well as talking about how he faked his first performance with Great White.
