Brutal-Truth,-Primate-Frontman-Kevin-Sharp-Interviewed-by-SIGH-'s-Dr.-Mikannibal---Metal-Moment-Podcast-084I spent the day trying to figure out the chords to, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, “Deceived”. A little sound sample of what I figured out so far. On to the show.
On January 8th 2014, Metal Moment Podcast’s Japanese correspondent Dr. Mikannibal of SIGH conducted an interview with Brutal Truth / Primate vocalist Kevin Sharp at the Unit in Daikanyama Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Mikannibal talks about moving to Tokyo this April. Other topics include, my new Over Drive pedal from KO Amps, who I bumped into at NAMM, and my fugly site. Black Label Society ‘s Dario Lorina – Metal Moment Podcast 082

Black Label Society 's Dario Lorina - Metal Moment Podcast 082I sat down on New Years Eve 2013 to record a show. Selected my Albums of the year as well as introducing Dario Lorina‘s new instrumental album. “Shrapnel Artist Of The Moment”.

I had the opportunity to talk to Dario Lorina a whiles back when I was interviewing Lizzy Borden. Marten Andersson (Lizzy Borden Bassist) and I were chatting on the tour bus while Dario was just kicking it. At the time I only knew about his work with the late Warrant singer Jani Lane. By the time I got my Heil PR-40 microphone fired up to recored, I was too intoxicated. I decided to just screw the year ender and just record a January 1st New Years Day episode. Got up in the morning and checked my emails and the various social network sites. I read a post, “Congratulations Dario Lorina”, and saw a BLS Skull Logo. I’m like WTF!??. So here is something I put together to showcase Dario Lorina. Dario Lorina is the “Shrapnel Artist Of The Moment”. He is Zakk’s new Guitarist. Here are some tracks from his Solo instrumental release and a tender jam from Zakk Wylde. I also recommend products that Dario can use while he grows a BLS Beard.

Featured Tracks:

Dario Lorina: My Heroine (Dario Lorina, Shrapnel 2013)
Dario Lorina: Words Unspoken (Dario Lorina, Shrapnel 2013)
Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society: Sweet Jesus (Unblackened, Entertainment One 2013)
Lizzy Borden: The Death Of Love (Appointment With Death feat. George Lynch, Metal Blade 2007)
